Score Breakdown
Every criterion below is scored from public sources. ✓ verified yes · ✗ verified no / not found · ◐ partial · ? unverified (scores 0, not a negative finding).
Information Transparency
20 / 20
Whether basic facts about the clinic - its team, premises, services, and location - are publicly verifiable.

Reputation & Reviews
16.5 / 20
Public review signals. The Google rating is adjusted with a Bayesian prior (rating 4.0, weight 25) so a 5.0 from a handful of reviews does not outrank a 4.8 from hundreds.
| ✓ | Google rating (Bayesian-adjusted) Star histogram read live on 2026-09-05: 87 five-star, 1 four-star, 0 three-star, 0 two-star, 0 one-star. The buckets sum to 88, matching the 88 in the place-page header exactly, and the weighted mean 4.989 reproduces the published 5. [gmp1] | 6/6 |
| ◐ | Google review volume Read live on 2026-09-05 from the place-page header; the star histogram sums to the same figure. [gmp1] | 1.5/3 |
| ✓ | Review recency The newest review visible is 3 weeks old, which proves the within-3-months bucket and no better. Sample: the 3 reviews Google Maps renders on the place page in its own relevance order; a newest-first list was not available. [gmp1] | 3/3 |
| ✓ | Clinic responds to reviews Owner replied to all three visible reviews, each reply naming the reviewer rather than reusing a template. Sample: the 3 reviews Google Maps renders on the place page in its own relevance order; a newest-first list was not available. [gmp1] | 2/2 |
| ✓ | No recurring complaints No repeated complaint theme appears in the visible sample. Sample: the 3 reviews Google Maps renders on the place page in its own relevance order; a newest-first list was not available. [gmp1] | 2/2 |
| ✓ | No suspicious review patterns A 5.0 over 88 reviews with a single 4-star and no negatives. Not flagged: the three visible reviews span 3 weeks to over 4 months, are long and specific, one is marked as edited, reviewer accounts hold 3 to 29 reviews, and the owner replies individually. Volume-vs-rating is handled by the Bayesian prior. Sample: the 3 reviews Google Maps renders on the place page in its own relevance order; a newest-first list was not available. [gmp1] | 2/2 |
| ? | Active Facebook presence Not established: no Facebook page is linked from the clinic's own channels, and the pages found under similar names belong to other clinics (checked 2026-10-02). | 0/1 |
| ✗ | TripAdvisor presence Not found by TripAdvisor's own search; no TripAdvisor link on the clinic's site [right-dental-care-accra-deepen-2] [right-dental-care-accra-deepen-3] | 0/0.5 |
| ✗ | Other review platforms No profile found on WhatClinic, Dental Departures, Bookimed, Go Africa Online or Trustpilot (checked 2026-10-01). Change History
| Date | Change |
|---|---|
| 2026-09-25 | Re-read on 2026-09-25: the clinic's Google listing and its own site, including the client code that renders its pages. Recorded: genuine treatment-room and waiting-room photos on the Google listing; Dental Implants, Teeth Straightening (orthodontics) and Kids Dentistry as public service categories; a WhatsApp contact link used as the site's main booking call to action, though it is a chat link rather than an on-site form with service or time selection; Saturday opening hours; no TripAdvisor presence and absence from WhatClinic's Greater Accra catalogue. Still unverified: Facebook presence, X-ray/CBCT equipment, emergency care and works-with-foreigners claims. |
| 2026-09-10 | Name-verification write-back 2026-09-10: 1 dentist (Esi Fuaba Afful) confirmed via the clinic's own og:description meta tag (the page body is a client-rendered SPA with no server-side text); source added. |
| 2026-09-05 | Manual browser check: the React SPA body finally rendered, closing the open questions - service list, per-treatment explanations, the single named dentist with her stated qualifications, and the confirmed absence of published prices. |
| 2026-09-05 | Checked by hand in a browser: Google Maps place page read live for rating, review count, star histogram, review recency, owner replies, complaint and manipulation reading and pin coordinates; the clinic Facebook page opened for reputation.onFacebook; the five canonical visibility queries re-run as browser SERPs. |
| 2026-09-04 | Initial data collection: rightdentalcare.com is a React SPA that answers automated requests with HTTP 406 and returned only a page title, not its full content — team/prices/services remain unconfirmed. Address/phone/dentist name corroborated via Instagram (clinic channel) and third-party directories; MDC and HeFRA checked. |
